Rooted in Nature Card Tutorial

Hi Friends. Here’s a beautiful card tutorial for you, created by the lovely Angela Waters, for our Project Sheet group. I think this card is so elegant and can be used for a masculine or feminine card. The “Itty Bitty” stamp set is ideal for this card layout, changing it for any occasion you need. Imagine the possibilities of using this layout with other stamp sets and colours too! 

Supplies: 
Stamp Sets – Rooted in Nature (146479w, 146482c); Crackle Paint (148752w, 148755c); Itty Bitty Greetings (146664w, 146667c)
Card Stock – Pacific Point (111350); Whisper White (100730); Basic Gray (121044); Basic Black (121045)
Stamp Pads – Pacific Point (147098)
Misc – Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263); Layering Ovals Framelits (141706); Silver Foil Paper (132178); Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon (147897); Jet Black Stazon Ink (101406); Classic Label Punch (141491); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:
Pacific Point CS: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2″
Whisper White CS: 3-1/4” x 4-1/4”; scrap
Basic Black CS: 3” x 4”; scrap
Basic Gray CS: scrap
Silver Foil Paper: 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:
 1. Score Pacific Point cardstock at 4-1/4” then fold to create card base.
 2. Stamp ‘crackle’ image over entire card front using Pacific Point ink. 
 3. Adhere Whisper White CS to Basic Black CS then adhere Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon across bottom half.  Adhere unit to card front.
 4. Stamp ‘tree’ image onto Silver Foil Paper using Jet Black Stazon ink.
 5. Die cut ‘oval’ from Silver Foil Paper using Big Shot and Layering Ovals Framelit Dies.  Add stamped die cut to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
 6. Stamp sentiment using Pacific Point ink on to scrap Whisper White CS.  Punch out using Classic Label Punch.
 7. Layer scrap of Basic Gray CS (approx. 9/16” x 2-1/16”) to scrap of Basic Black CS (approx.. 5/8” x 2-1/8”); Add punched piece to unit. Add entire unit to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
