Hello, my lovely friends!
Last night was one of those perfect Fridays—full of creativity, good company, and a bit of unexpected fun. I was in my craft room, stamping away and having a blast when I decided to turn on the camera and do a bit of a show and tell with the cards I was making. I needed to whip up quite a few cards that were quick and easy, yet still pretty and eye-catching, so I combined simple techniques: One Sheet Wonder, Smackdown, and my favourite – the “Magical Reverse Embossing” technique.
I had every intention of getting the video up for you last night, but, as it turns out, life had other plans! My hubby had already started a bonfire, and before I knew it, our friends were gathered around, ready for some marshmallow roasting and laughter under the stars. I couldn’t resist joining in the fun, so the video had to wait.
Before posting the video, I had to give it a quick ‘proof-watch’—a step I always take to ensure everything is in order and properly edited. Needless to say, I didn’t get around to it until this morning, as I needed to make sure I had removed my expletives from that moment when I accidentally spilled my drink on the desk. 😅 Despite that little mishap, it ended up being a fantastic evening filled with stamping, creating, and later, unwinding with good friends by a cozy fire.
