Description
I’m excited to share a technique with you today that is an oldie but such a goodie! It’s called the “Rubber Band” technique and I first shared this on my blog and youtube channel five years ago. I had no idea how popular this video would be! You can see the original here.
I decided to create a revised version of this technique as there are so many fun ways to use it that I had not shown in my original video. I’ve created TEN card designs using the “Rubber Band Technique” and believe me, I could have made many more! I love this technique because it uses something as basic as rubber bands to create interesting backgrounds for our cards and projects.
In my video, which you can see HERE, I demonstrate a very basic card first (I pretty much cased my original card from the first video I made) and then a second card using the same layout but with heat embossing. I then show the eight card variations with the “Rubber Band Technique” using different embossing powders, foil card stock, pigment powders and how to combine this with other techniques, such as the Emboss Resist Technique. I truly had so much FUN making these cards!
I’m also offering a PDF tutorial for all ten cards, which contains photos, step-by-step instructions, supply lists and measurements. You can use these tutorials however you wish – for personal use, workshops, classes, etc.
