Hi Friends! Have you seen the “Floating Image Technique” yet? If not, you’re in for a treat. If you have seen it, then you already know what a super neat technique this is! Jennifer McGuire recently shared a video of this technique, on her YouTube channel, and my goodness, it seems everyone has jumped on board with it! Myself included! You really need to give this technique a whirl – you’re going to be as addicted to it as I’ve been.
Today marks my 17 year anniversary with Stampin’ Up! and to commemorate this special occasion, I chose to create a personalized frame for my craft room, using the “Floating Image” technique. I had originally planned on the word ‘create’ for my frame, alas, the letter dies for that wouldn’t fit in the size of the frame I was using for my project. So, “Tina” was the next best option! I really LOVE how my frame turned out.
After I finished making my personalized frame, I made a second one to use up the leftover bits and pieces. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set, which is Stampin’ Up!’s “Statement of the Heart”:
Give this “Floating Image” technique a try – I PROMISE you will have soooo much FUN with it! As for me, I can’t wait to make more cards and projects with this technique and I’ll be sure to share photos of them with you!
