Hi Friends! It’s time again for our monthly “Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop”! This month’s general theme is to create something new that we hadn’t tried before. This could be a shaker card, mixed media or a certain fun fold. I’ve made shaker cards, which you can see here and here. I absolutely LOVE mixed media, with an example here. However, I knew of a fun fold that I’ve been itchin’ to try! It’s called a “Wiper Card”.

This fun fold card has been around for years but it’s new to ME and it may be new to YOU too – or perhaps, a reminder if you’ve forgotten about it!
Here are the card measurements:
- Early Espresso Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″; score along the 8 1/2″ side at 1 1/2″ and 3″
- Early Espresso strip: 8 1/2″ x 2″; score along the 8 1/2″ side at 1 1/2″ and 3″
- Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ , 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ (two pieces) , 4″ x 1 1/4″ (two pieces)
- Whisper White: 5 1/4″ x 4″, plus scrap piece for dove.
- Early Espresso & Crumb Cake scrap pieces: for pinecone die cuts
- Garden Green card stock: for pine bough die cuts
- Small strip of Real Red card stock: for embossed sentiment
