Happy Friday! I hope you’ve been having a great week. I’m still trying to get my Stampin’ Studio in order – Lord, I’ve got a LOT of stuff! I’ve been busy making fun goodie bags with all of my extra paper, ribbon, stamps, embellishments, etc and putting them aside for upcoming events. 😉
I’ve also been packaging up literally HUNDREDS of cards that I’ve made at classes or received as swaps from Stampin’ Up! events and I’m going to start selling them for $5 for a bundle of five cards. These cards are gorgeous and I’ve been keeping them around for inspiration but they are starting to take up too much room! If you’d like to purchase a package of cards let me know and I’ll be happy to get them to you ($5 plus cost of postage).
Today’s project is a quick Christmas card that I made using MDS and the Envelope Punch Board:
I used the “Old Saint Nick” digital download to print the postage stamp (I altered the colours first) and then punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch. The little envelope was made using a piece Real Red Card Stock cut at 5″ x 5″ to create the gift card envelope on the Envelope Punch Board. The whole card came together pretty quickly. It would be cute to have an actual gift card in that envelope too! The “Christmas Greetings” sentiment is from the “Special Season” stamp set. “Venetian Romance” is the Designer Series Paper I used, with some Candy Dots in the corners. You may also detect the tell-tale signs of “Gorgeous Grunge”. I’ve honestly never been as addicted to a stamp set as I am to that one (and to think I didn’t care for it when I first saw in the catalogue!).
Here are some quick links for you to see our current promotions, new stamp sets and more!
Come back to visit over the weekend for an exclusive Stamp Club video! Normally my club projects and videos are posted on a private blog for my club members and “Serene Stampers” downline team only, but because my December project as been such a hit I want to share it with you too! So stay tuned…..
Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!
