My Monthly Classes & FREE Stamp Giveaway!

August 9, 2011 Leave a Comment

Hi Everyone!  I have to tell ya, I LOVE my monthly classes! It is so much fun getting together with wonderful ladies and spending time together stamping!  Here’s what we’ve been making this week:

 Monthly BIG SHOT Class

These cards were made with the Top Note Die, Paisley Petals DSP and the Word Play stamp set.  All items can be found by clicking HERE to view our gorgeous Idea Book & Catalogue online.

Tammy LOVES the gift box we made using the Milk Box die! I saw this at convention and it blew my socks off! I think I’d only used this die ONCE since I purchased it (over a year ago) but after learning how to make this box I can promise you, this die is going to be well used!!!!

Almost all of the cards and projects were cased from samples I found online and then I tweaked them a bit to make them my own masterpieces.  There is so much inspiration on the WWW ~ I’m always amazed!

Tammy & Michele show of some of their projects.

Is this amazing or what???!!!  Michele, bless her cotton pickin’ heart, gave me this gorgeous box that she created.  She used SU DSP (retired) and the ribbon and bow is made with the new Lace Border Punch! HOLEY CARUMBA!
I LOVE this!  And if receiving the box wasn’t thrilling enough, Michele even filled it with homemade chocolate-walnut FUDGE! Life. Is. Good. Thank you, Michele!

Cased from the Summer Mini, the Strength & Hope Set is only available until the end of this month.  $2 from each set sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

I LOVE this stamp set! It’s called TAGTASTIC and it’s a set only our Hostesses can get.  Card cased from page 13 of the Idea Book and Catalogue (IB&C).

Lovely As a Tree, Stampin’ Up!’s all time most popular stamp set!  Card cased from IB&C, page 144

Another new fav. stamp set, Field Flowers.  Card cased from IB&C, pg 120.

Joanne, Colleen and Annette enjoy stamping, along with their coffee and apricot-chocolate chip scones, at yesterday’s morning Card Class.

With the release of the new 2011-2012 IB&C, the “Hello Doily” stamp has so far been my top seller.  I cased this card from page 36, using the Serene Snowflakes and Perfectly Penned stamp sets, the doily pops off the card with the white embossing.  This card is a real “WOW!”.  By the way, you may have noticed I missed a bit of the doily image, at the top, with my versamark ink & embossing powder ~ but I still liked how it turned out! It looks like the doily has been ripped or frayed! LOL

Don’t forget about the current promotion this month – buy three packages of Designer Series Paper and get one for FREE! This is the perfect time to stock up on your favorite DSP designs, especially if you’re going to be using some for your Christmas cards! Contact me at serenestamper@yahoo.ca to order yours or place your order through my online store and receive ‘preferred pricing’ AND have your items shipped directly to your door! How’s THAT for convenience???!

HAPPY STAMPING!

PS:  If you received my August newsletter then you’ll know I’m giving away the new HELLO DOILY stamp today!!!!  If you don’t know how to get in on my FREE STAMP draw then let me know!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
