Merry Patterns – Card Tutorial

    – Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (144640); Silver
    Foil Paper (132178); Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape (144644);
    VersaMark Ink (102283); Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109129);
    Embossing Buddy (103083); Heat Tool (129053); Dimensionals (104430);
Measurements:
  • Night
    of Navy CS: 5 1/2” x 6 1/8”; 2 3/4” x 3 1/4”
  • Whisper
    White CS: 4” x 5 1/4”; 2 ½” x 3”; 1/2″ x 3”
  • Silver
    Foil: 3” x 3 ½”
  • Year
    of Cheer DSP: 1 3/4” x 5 1/4”
Instructions:
  1. Score
    Night of Navy cardstock at 4 ¼” then fold to form card base.
  2. Adhere
    Year of Cheer DSP to short flap which creates card front.
  3. Add
    Gold Designer Washi tape to right side of Whisper White CS, then add
    to inside of card base.
  4. Stamp
    ‘deer’ outline onto Whisper White CS using VersaMark ink. Cover
    with Gold Emboss Powder, shake off excess, heat to melt using the
    Heat Tool.
  5. Stamp
    ‘deer’ patterned image over the top the outline deer image.
    Cover with Gold Emboss Powder, shake off excess, heat to melt using
    the Heat Tool.
  6. Stamp
    several ‘pine boughs’ along top edge of embossed piece using
    Garden Green ink.
  7. Adhere
    embossed piece to Night of Navy CS. Adhere this unit to Silver Foil
    paper. Adhere unit to card front using adhesive only on left side.
  8. Stamp
    “sentiment” using Night of Navy ink to 1/2″ Whisper White.
    Add ‘pine’ images to each side using Garden Green ink. Banner
    tail each end. Add to card front using Dimensionals only on the
    left side.
