Hi Friends! It’s a holiday long weekend, here in Canada, for our Thanksgiving. My heart is full of gratitude for many blessings – not just because it’s Thanksgiving – but every day. If you’re celebrating North of the Border too – ENJOY!
While I should be sharing an “Autumn” card today, reflecting the season, I actually have a Christmas card instead. This is my card for our “Leaders Project Sheet” group, which is due tomorrow – so I thought I’d best get it made and the tutorial done up! Instructions:
1. Fold Crumb Cake card stock in half to create card base.
2. Tap Whisper White ink pad onto Stylish Scroll embossing folder and place 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Crumb Cake card stock on top. Run through die cut/emboss machine. Wrap ribbon around centre then glue to front of card.
3. Cut Real Red card stock with heart die and glue to card.
4. Place 4 ¼” x 3” piece of Crumb Cake card stock onto stamparatus and hold in position with magnet. Place sentiment from “Merry Christmas to All” onto paper, pick up with lid, then stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink until desired darkness.
5. Ink holly image from “Christmas is Gleaming” set with Sahara Sand and stamp, overlapping slightly onto of sentiment. Colour with watercolor pencils and blender pen. Cut with Stitched Rectangle Die and place onto card front with dimensionals.
6. Add a Real Red ribbon bow/knot, securing into place with Mini Glue Dots.
7. Use Fine-tip Glue on holly and berries and add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
8. Spritz card with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (mixed with 70% rubbing alcohol).
