During the past week I’ve had a few stamping events: first, I had a stamp class where we made 4 cards, matching envelopes and a purse (photos above) to hold them, using the Sweet Stems and Kind Thanks SU stamp sets and the Faux Silk Technique. I had 11 gals here and we had a super good time!
Stampers hard at ‘play’….
For this class I set up a table in my living room and also used the dining room table adjacent….one day I’ll have a stampin’ loft for classes and events! For really big groups I simply rent out the community hall or church…
I also had two stamp clubs this past weekend. This month our project was an altered journal and coordinating pen.
I taught the super fun and easy “Emerging Color, with a Twist” technique. Simply take a bold stamp and using Versamark, randomly stamp over your DSP (Designer Series Paper). Emboss in clear. Then take a dark ink pad and wipe directly over top. Moisten the tip of a paper towel to remove excess ink off the embossed images…MAGIC! The color just pops! Soooo fun!
Amy shows off her masterpiece!

(The creators of all these journals were camera shy – but I appreciate them letting me post their finished works of art. Thanks to those that don’t mind modeling for the camera!)

Heather & Deb(note Heather’s carrot cake – it was delicious, Heather -thanks!)
Jen, with her masterpiece!

Everyone’s projects turned out fabulously!
Way to go Ladies!
