January’s All Occasion Card Class

Hi Friends! Happy Friday to you! If you feel like stamping this weekend, I’ve got three cards to share with you for some inspiration. These are the cards that we made at my monthly “All Occasion Card Class” this past Wednesday night.


 I cased this sweet card from Dawn Derrick and it’s using our new “Hello Cupcake” Sale-a-bration stamp set. Try this card in each colour of the “Gingham Gala” Designer Series Papers to create an adorable card set to give to someone special!

For our second card, I used the “Lasting Lily” stamp set – this is another fabulous Sale-a-bration set that you can get for FREE until the end of March:

We always make two each of the same card design at this class – one to keep and one to give away (you could, of course, give them both away if you wish). We made one card using Crushed Curry ink for the flowers and for the second card we used “Melon Mambo” ink. Old Olive was used for the stems and card bases:

I cased my card design directly from a sample photo in the 2019 Sale-a-bration catalogue! I love that our catalogues provide so much inspiration for us! I changed up the embossing folder, as I don’t have the new Lace Embossing Folder, so I used the Swirls & Curls instead. I also had just a bit of the mini silver and gold Sequin Trim on hand, but it was enough to add a bit of shine to these gorgeous cards.  I also used Mint Macaron card stock for the sentiment piece.



The last card we made used another brand new stamp set called “Let it Ride” and it’s a beauty!

Reverse masking and a bit of sponging made this card super quick and easy to make!

My “All Occasion” card classes are always held on the third Wednesday of every month in Heatherton, Nova Scotia. Cost is $25 and all supplies are included to create six cards.     Such beautiful cards. You sold me on this set that for sure.

    Something funny. I was on Pinterest and found a card I wanted to CASE and it was yours – LOL.It used the Painted with Love DP (pink with gold) cut into squares. It was so beautiful.
