In the City Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! Today’s card tutorial uses the “In the City” host reward stamp set. This fun stamp set is on the Last Chance retiring list, so if you want it, you’d better get it quick!

This is one set that I’ll be hanging onto because it’s hard to find stamps with all these ‘city’ images!
Supplies:
  • Stamp
    Sets

    –
    In
    The City (Hostess Set 143771)
  • Card
    Stock
    –
    Pool Party (122924); Basic Gray (121044); Whisper White (100730)
  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Basic Gray (140932)
  • Misc.
    – Just Add Color Designer Series Paper [DSP] (144180); Stampin’
    Blends Marker Collection (147475); Classic Label Punch (141491);
    Basics 3-Washi Tape (144223); Fast Fuse Adhesive (129026)
Measurements:
  • Pool
    Party: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
  • Basic
    Gray: 3 5/16” x 3 1/4” 2 ½” x ½”
  • Whisper
    White: scraps (punch)
  • Just
    Add Color DSP: 3” x 3”

Instructions:
  1. Fold
    Pool Party card stock in half to create card base.
  2. Add
    two rows of Washi Tape to bottom of card front as shown.
  3. Cut
    an appropriate number of house images from the Just Add Color DSP.
    Note:
    You may need to adjust the size of the Basic Gray mat.
  4. Using
    Stampin’ Blends color in the houses as desired.
  5. Adhere
    the colored DSP to the Basic Gray Mat and adhere to card front using
    Fast Fuse adhesive.
  6. Stamp
    the sentiment from In The City onto the scrap of Whisper White card
    stock and punch out using the Classic Label Punch.
