Greeting Card Box with Mosaic Embossing Technique – VIDEO & PDF

February 7, 2023 1 Comment

Hi Friends. Before I get to today’s project, I want to send out a huge shout-out of congratulations to VALERIE ZIMMERMAN, the winner of my 60K subscriber giveaway on my YouTube channel! Valerie lives in Missouri and I’m excited to mail off her special gift, which is a box full of goodies made here in Nova Scotia (chocolates, maple syrup, etc), as well as some exclusive Stampin’ Up! logo products & a few more surprises. Thank you to EVERYONE who left a comment under my video – I loved reading them all! I truly appreciated all the kind words too – you sure know how to make a girl feel loved.

Now, onto today’s special project!

This is a box that perfectly stores our hand stamped greeting cards and envelopes. It’s super easy and fun to make. Everyone who’s made one of these boxes at my stamp clubs and classes over the years as just LOVED them, especially as they make fabulous gifts too.

Unfortunately, I lost my one and only printout of the tutorial (which was also years old) and for the life of me, I can’t remember where I originally got it from. Good news: I took one of my existing boxes apart and created a new template and tutorial – whew! Thank goodness I still had one of these boxes lying around!

To decorate my boxes I used a fun “Mosaic Embossing Technique”. I really love resurrecting techniques from years gone by and using them with our current products!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
