Hi Friends! Now that summer has finally arrived, I’ve been keeping busy out in our yard – and LOVING it! All winter long I wait for the days that I can putz in my flower beds and veggie garden! The weeding part isn’t the most fun, mind you. This past weekend I spent 3 1/2 hours weeding the long flower bed in our front yard, but it sure looked terrific when I finished!
Now I’m patiently waiting for my dahlias to grow and I plan on adding some red geraniums. Our veggie garden is also all planted and it’s exciting to see the seeds sprouting up. After all the years that I’ve been living on the East Coast (since 2007), you’d think I’d be used to the late spring/summer seasons, but I’m not. When I chat with my family and friends back home on Vancouver Island, they tell me all about the garden veggies they’ve been enjoying and we’re at least a month behind them. Oh well. It’s all good and I just love this time of year!
BIG NEWS!
I’m thrilled to share with you that last week I earned Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 incentive trip to Mexico! Woohoo! I am so excited, and so is my husband! There aren’t enough words of gratitude to express how much I appreciate my team and my customers – huge hugs and THANKS to all of you! I am truly blessed. Xoxo

Ok – on to today’s cards! These are really fun to make! I simply sponged ink onto a full sheet of Basic White card stock, cut, stamped, embossed and glued the panels to my card bases! The possibilities with this easy technique and card design are endless!
The stamp set I used on my cards is one of my favourites, “Gorgeously Made“, which is also available as a bundle with fabulous dies:
Measurements:
- Basic White: 8 1/2″ x 11″ (once stamped, cut into four 3 3/4″ x 5″ panels); each card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (fold in half at 4 1/4″), scrap piece for sentiments
- Coloured Card Stock Layers: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!

Your cards are gorgeous. I am going to sit down and try this technique a little later this evening. I did notice though on your products used list you didn’t mention the blender brushes. Thank you for sharing these with us. Congratulations on winning your trip to Mexico.
