Ok friends, seriously, the days are going by TOO QUICKLY! I just can’t get over that we’re already into the second week of May! Holey Carumba! At least it means we’re getting closer to summer and hot weather – I am so ready for that. I just love the summer (and Fall) months and being outdoors. There’s almost something spiritual about spending time in my garden and flower beds, feeling (and smelling) the fresh-cut grass under my bare feet and having the warmth of the sunshine all around me. Nature is so powerful and good for the soul, don’t you think?
We’re going to be spending a LOT of time outside, preparing for our garden wedding this August! I have existing flower beds that I want to tidy up and new flower gardens to start – I can’t wait! I’ve got trays filled with all kinds of flower (and veg) seeds, and they’re coming along beautifully. This weekend we’ll till the garden and get it prepared for the veggies – though I know we’ll have to cover them periodically over the next couple of months. We typically wake up to frost off and on through the Spring, until the last full moon of June. Okie doke, I’d best get on with today’s projects – otherwise, I could talk about flowers and gardens all day! LOL
