Founder’s Circle and a Sneak Peek!

September 23, 2014 2 Comments

Hi Friends!  I arrived home yesterday from the Founder’s Circle Retreat in St. George, Utah.  What an amazing time I had! I am soooo glad I went – I almost didn’t.  With everything that has been going on (hubby’s surgery, our dog covered in quills from a porcupine, etc) I thought I’d be staying home this year.  But the day before I was due to fly out I decided I would go so I got busy cutting card stock for my swaps and hit the road to catch my flight.  Unfortunately, I forgot my Designer Series Paper and other supplies I needed to finish my swaps, so I ended up improvising.  If not for my friends helping me assemble them, they wouldn’t have gotten done at all.  But it was so nice to visit with one another while we crafted away…

Here are some other photos that I thought I’d share with you today:

The lovely Bonnie Thurber and I pose for a selfie!

Christmas Project Life samples on display

Love these new Project Life kits, which will be available next month
Top Canadian Demonstrators 2014

Here I am playing with the rubber bits from our manufacturing plant that have been recycled at the local playground!

The lovely park and playground that Stampin’ Up! built!

Tuacahn Amphitheater is absolutely breathtaking!

The play was based on my favourite movie, Wizard of Oz and the sets and acting were unbelievable – there were even live horses and I just wanted to bring Toto home with me, he was so cute! You can view a clip of the musical by clicking HERE.

Getting ready to watch the show, me, Candy Michael, Pam Morgan and Julie Brancart – I LOVE these ladies!
Another selfie, this time of me and my friend Brandy Cox.  Brandy and I first met at last year’s Founder’s Circle Retreat and she’s an absolute doll and I can’t wait for us to get together again.

One of our pillow gifts was an adorable pillow to go along with the “Home for the Holidays” theme – cute tag too!

We came home from Founder’s Circle with a TON of gifts and LOTS of Stampin’ Up! products!

Speaking of product, here’s a Sneak Peek of a new stamp set!!!

Some cute tags on display!

Even the water station was so pretty with the flowers and fruit (the strawberry water was delish!)

The weather was hot and glorious and even better enjoyed in the pool with your friends! In this photos are Rose Marie Coleman, me, Alison Solven, Evelyn Wood,  Kay Smith, Candy Michael, Genevieve Ko and Maggie Patterson.
At Founders Circle we’re put in teams and this was our “Snow Flake” team working on ornaments for Christmas Trees that will be auctioned off at Christmas for the Children’s Primary Hospital in Salt Lake City.  Not only was this a super fun way to cap off our retreat it was great to be involved with such a worthwhile service project!

The ornaments our team made were stars with buttons (on both sides) – a little tricky to get them all placed properly but really fun to make.

Don’t they look pretty hanging from the tree?!

Our “Snow Flakes” team: Jeanette Swain, Shelly Godby, Dawn Olchefske, Connie Heisey, Jo Golden, Moi and Barb Mullikin – such a great group of gals! We had a ton of fun together.
Once the trees were fully decorated it was time for our last dinner together and the Special Events group at Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with our tables!
So as you can tell, The Founder’s Circle Retreat is pretty extraordinary and I am so grateful for Stampin’ Up! and to have a business that is rewarded with trips like this.  THANK YOU to all my customers and my entire “Serene Stampers” group of demonstrators – without you this dream wouldn’t have come true for me.  I love you and I appreciate you – you are all just the best and I am truly blessed.
HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Congratulations Tina on your hard work to get to founders Circle. I love your blog, keep up the hard work girl, I can see you at the top. Oh Tina, one of your downlines Karen Halverson emailed me the other day asking if I'm going to Regina to the SU conference, we got talking thru email and I asked her who her uplink was and she said "you". I said hey I know her, small world, haha. Take care my friend

Thanks SO MUCH Kathy! Since moving to NS I'm in the process of building my SU business all over again, so it may be a while before I (hopefully) earn FC again. LOL Karen is a doll – we haven't met in person but I feel like we have. It's indeed a small world! You take care too, my friend!
