Never in my dreams, when I first started my channel, did I imagine the journey I’d take by sharing my love of stamping with others. So many new friends from around the world and so many blessings. I am truly grateful. Next goal: 100K! I’m always learning and trying to improve my videos, our internet is a constant challenge (takes almost two hours to upload a 4 minute video at home, not counting the HOURS spent planning, filming, editing, saving and compressing), but I have to admit, I love the process.
Huge thanks to all of my wonderful subscribers – I truly have the BEST YouTube community! To show my appreciation, I’m going to have a little giveaway. The “Spotlight Technique” has got to be one of my all-time FAVOURITES. If you type ‘spotlight’ in the search box here on my blog you will see TONS of cards (and videos) that showcase this technique. However, today I’m showing you a variation of this technique that I’ve NEVER shown before! I’m calling it the “Faux Spotlight Technique”, because it’s only one layer of card stock (vs. layering card stock cut with dies or punches). This is quite an addictive technique because the variations are ENDLESS! In my video demonstration, I create FOUR different cards as well as options for colouring. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did making it for you!
