Hi Friends! This past weekend I hosted another “Technique & Tea Hour” with my Serene Stampers team and as always, we had a fabulous time together! We met via Zoom and I demonstrated a technique and then we stamped and visited (for almost 2 hours). I always get so sappy after I spend time with my team because they have all become my dear FRIENDS whom I truly love. I am very blessed and I’ll always be so grateful that Stampin’ Up! came into my life and for the relationships that have come from it. Anywho…let’s get back to the technique. I showed the “Faux Metal” technique, which I’ve always considered a WOW technique. While this technique has been around for years, it’s still brand new to many and is always a hit.
For my card, I used the “Nothings Better Than” stamp set. A little tone on tone stamping on the Pretty Peacock background. Simple, fun and effective! I actually missed a bit of gold embossing on one of the corners and a friend mentioned adding a bit of gold leaf to cover up – and it worked!

BIG NEWS! Today our “Last Chance” retiring list for the annual catalogue will be released!
As soon as it is I’ll send the list out by email and will also post it here for you on my blog! Until then, have a FABULOUS day!
