Well I have to say, I find it hard to believe that the Queen’s County Fair has come and gone. The days sure do fly by! I had so much fun, demonstrating Stampin’ Up!, at the fair. And I met such wonderful people! Everyone seemed to really enjoy the quick cards and techniques I demonstrated. I booked a few workshops and quite a few folks signed up for my newsletters so that’s exciting! I LOVE meeting new people through my workshops and I’m looking forward to seeing these folks again soon. I am going to be in Miramachi, Sussex Corner and Gagetown over the next few weeks, for workshops, so contact me if you’d like to attend or host your own workshop! (Not only is it a great time, but you’ll also earn FREE stamps and product!!).
I had a great door prize basket at the fair, FULL of goodies! Stamped cards, candles, gifts, chocolate, a FREE class coupon, etc. The door prize winner went to THERESE BOURQUE! Yay! Therese also booked a workshop and I just know we’re going to have a super good time!!!
I’m still learning how to operate my new camera that my sweet hubby gave to me for my birthday, so stand by while I learn all the settings! LOL That being said, here’s a (fuzzy) photo of our new friends – and door prize winner – Therese and her husband, Roger.
Here, in no particular order, are some photos from the fair:
The color spritzing tool always gets raves reviews too!
A journal I altered using Stampin’ Up! fabric, tinsel trim, buttons, stamps, glass glitter, designer series paper, and gold embossing. This will be “Our Christmas Traditions” book and I’ll fill it with just that – traditions from both our families, memories, favorite Christmas recipes, photos, etc.
Russell took a photo of me watching the horse & rider trials.
From our house to Gagetown, we drive along the Saint John River. Doesn’t get much prettier – the scenery here ALWAYS takes my breath away. Especially this time of year, with the leaves turning colors. Of course, apples are for sale along the highway, so we’ve been enjoying crunching on those during the drive.
Speaking of apples, who ever heard of a BLUE candy apple? Russell surprised me with this and I’m saving it. I LOVE candy apples!
Have a great day and HAPPY STAMPING!
