Hi Friends! HAPPY MONDAY! I hope you had a nice weekend! I spent Saturday working on my latest video – I’m so happy so many of you have loved the fun fold, the Seaside View set and my demonstration with the Watercolour Pencils! If you missed the video just click HERE.
I spent the rest of Saturday doing errands and cleaning up the yard before our latest storm hit with crazy winds and rain. I think everything caught up with me yesterday because I ended up falling asleep super early and slept through to about 5:30 am. The fact that I was up since 3:30 am yesterday morning could have had something to do with it! LOL, My problem is if I wake up early, for any reason, quite often I’m not able to go back to sleep! So I get up, make coffee and end up working on my computer for a few hours.
Today was house cleaning day and I rearranged the living room, did three loads of laundry, made banana chocolate chip muffins, and got caught up on all kinds of chores and things on my to-do list. Such a good feeling! By the way, I am going to be making Hot Cross Buns for Easter this week and decided I would film it and share this recipe on my YouTube channel! These buns are INCREDIBLE and even my friends who “don’t care” for Hot Cross Buns LOVE them! So stand by for that!
I wanted to share a card fold with you that we made during my “Serene Stampers” team meeting last week. We played Mystery Stamping and this was the fun fold that I featured (this particular fun fold was inspired by Ronda Wade):
The “Whale Done” card is the one I made during our team’s zoom meeting, and the birthday card is one I had made earlier:
Measurements:
- Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic White: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4 and 1″ x 11″ (scored at 2 3/4″ , 5 1/2 & 8 1/4″ – this is the piece for inside the card)
- Designer Series Paper: 3″ x 4″ and 2″ x 5 1/2″ (optional: I also added two 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strips for inside the card)

I used the Butterfly Duet Punch, Stitched So Sweetly Dies and Ornate Garden Designer Series paper. The stamp set for the sentiments is “Seaside View”.
For this card, I used the “Whale Done” bundle and “Whale of a Time” Designer Series Paper. Love it! I haven’t stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card yet but I think I will use a die or punch for it.
Fun fold cards NEVER grow old and they just keep us hooked on making interesting cards for our loved ones! I hope you have fun with this fun fold, if you give it a go!
Enjoy the day, stay well and HAPPY STAMPING!
