I am excited to share today’s cards with you! I made two cards with the same layout, but with different products and techniques!
To say that I’ve been having FUN creating with all the new products from our Mini Catalogue is an understatement. I just want to play all day long LOL
For my first card, I used items from the “Greatest Journey Bundle”. I actually ordered the whole suite collection, which is pretty fantastic!
The coordinating “Greatest Journey” 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper in this suite is absolutely gorgeous. The mountain/moon pattern from this DSP is what I chose for the circle die-cut on my card:
For my second card, I used the “Lighting the Way Bundle” – another new favorite of mine from the Mini!
I have soooo many ideas on ways I want to use this bundle! Today’s card was the first one I made using it:
The bug in the “Lighting the Way” die collection just blew my mind. Who knew I’d get so excited about a BUG?
In my video I demonstrated both of today’s cards:
Product List for both cardsWell friends, I’m off to bed. It’s almost 11pm and it’s been long, busy day. It was a good day, mind you. Along with work and getting this video edited and up on my YouTube channel, I also got laundry done, baked two loaves of whole wheat bread and banana chocolate chip muffins, and Brian and I made perogies (from scratch) for dinner (they turned out great and were super yummy). I also gave Rosey and Cooper baths and now they’re all soft and fluffy. Cooper is going to the vet tomorrow to have surgery to remove a large lump in his neck. I noticed it about a year ago when it was the size of a pea, but it’s growing rapidly. When I had my vet check it again in November she immediately made an appt for Cooper to get it removed.
The vet clinic that I go to is about a 40-minute drive (Cape Breton), so we’ll have to get an early start to get Cooper in on time. Truth be told, I’m a wee bit nervous, which I’m sure is normal. Cooper is 10 years old and healthy, and our vet is AWESOME (which is why I drive so far and because I want the best care for my furbabies). I know Coop will NOT be impressed with the ‘cone of doom’, so that’s going to be fun (not). However, I will be relieved once his surgery is done and the lump is gone. I’ll keep you posted. Until then…
Take Care & HAPPY STAMPING!
