Measurements:
  • Be
    Merry DSP: 12″ x 12″ sheet for the purse; (4) 3 1/4″
    x 4 3/4″ different design
  • Garden
Green, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White scraps for ovals
Instructions:
  1. Cards:
Fold Note Cards in half and adhere DSP to front. Cut 2 ovals in
each of the cardstock scraps. Stamp ‘Thanks’ on Whisper White scrap
~ 2 in each color ink. Layer the ovals together and stamp the
verse on the inside of the card.
  2. Clutch
    Purse:
a.
Choose side of 12″ x 12″ DSP for outside of the purse,
place that side down.
b.
Fold one corner up to the opposite corner to create a triangle, the
folded edge will be 17″. Crease the fold with your bone folder
and fold up the edge approximately 3/4″ across the entire width.
c.
Open the triangle and turn 180 degrees. Bring the opposite corners
of the DSP up to create a soft triangle and pinch the center to mark
the middle.
d.
Open the DSP with the folded horizontal lines facing you.
e.
Bring the right corner to the center, fold and crease the edge with
the bone folder. Bring the left corner to the center, fold and
crease the edge with the bone folder. This is the inside of your
purse.
f.
Create the center fold into a ‘mountain’ fold with a ‘valley’ fold
on either side. This is the bottom of your purse.
g.
With the fold on the inside, close the purse with the remaining two
triangular corners meeting at the top. Fold each of the corners down
to the outside of the purse ~ approximately 3″.
h.
To hold the purse closed, place a magnet under the fold near the top
of the purse. Attach it to the DSP with a Mini Glue Dot (on each
side of the small round magnet). Repeat on the other side of the
purse opening being sure to line up the magnets carefully so the
purse closure lines up evenly.
i.
Add a clear faceted gem to the front of the purse and adhere the
triangles on both sides to the main purse with a Mini Glue Dot.

But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
