Hello Friends! I’m back! What a whirlwind it’s been! As some of you may know, I went home to Vancouver Island for a couple of weeks and got back this past Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday were spent unpacking, doing laundry and all that kind of fun stuff, whilst trying to get back into the Atlantic time zone (British Columbia is 4 hours behind us). Friday morning I was up at 3am and on the highway by 4am to catch my early flight for the OnStage event in Ottawa! I got back on Sunday and between the two trips I think I’ve FINALLY caught my breath!

Our visit home to Comox to see family and friends was fabulous. Despite the non-stop rain (which broke records) we had such a great time just relaxing and enjoying my Grandma’s baking, my Dad’s delicious home cooked meals, seeing my friends and enjoying the sights of some of my favourite places. We also went to Vancouver, as well as Washington State (where my Mom lives) to visit more friends and family. It was SO NICE to see everyone and I hated to leave. Our two week visit was certainly jam packed, but it did me a world of good to be there.
My BFF surprised my honey and I with a two night stay at a gorgeous river side cottage! We loved watching the heron catch fish, not to mention all the deer everywhere. |
On route to Campbell River – I love living on the East Coast, but I sure do miss the mountains out West! |

Now, let’s chat a bit about Stampin’ Up! OnStage! I’ve said it before and I know I’ll say it again, but Stampin’ Up! is such an AMAZING company and they once again outdid themselves. I was thrilled to be one of the 39 attendees at the Ottawa event, who earned the “Centre Stage” dinner and training, on Friday night. It was wonderful to see so many of my Stampin’ Up! friends. I was also honoured to had been asked to do a presentation on the topic of “Team Meetings” during Centre Stage, which I think went pretty well! Whew! It’s always a bit nerve wracking to speak in front of so many of my peers and other successful demonstrators! We were also spoiled with a fabulous new bag, stamps (from the Occasions 2017 catalogue, not yet released) and other fun treats. The meal itself was delicious. A highlight for me from the evening was the great conversation with my friends/demos and sharing business ideas and just having lots of good laughs together.
