Friends, I think you’re going to like the cards I’m sharing with you today (at least I hope so LOL)! With yesterday’s cards being quick and simple, I decided today’s cards would be ‘over the top’. These are the kinds of cards I enjoy making the most. To say that I am thrilled with how today’s cards turned out is an understatement because I absolutely love them!!!!
In my video I demonstrate two scene cards, both using the same dies. The dies I chose to be the ‘star’ of today’s cards are the “Grove Dies”, which coordinate with the “Grassy Grove” stamp set. You can get both of these products in a bundle, which has a savings of 10%. Just a heads up – this bundle is currently on our low inventory list, so be sure to order it soon, if it’s on your wish list.
These are the same dies that I used to make our wedding invitations, which you can see HERE. I think it’s safe to say that these dies are a favourite of mine because they’re ideal for everyday occasions, special occasions and even Christmas!
For my first card, I incorporated a sponged sky, stamped trees, heat embossing, snow puff paint and festive yet wintery colours.
The second card is even faster to make, as it’s white on white, with a splash of red and green.
Super elegant, don’t you think? ‘White on white’ cards are a popular trend and I can see why!
Neither of the cards are difficult to make. Once the die cuts are done it’s really just a matter of assembly. I’d say the coloured card took me about 30 minutes to make and the white card was finished in about 15 minutes, max. To mass produce the white cards, I’d suggest cutting all your dies out first and then adhere them to the card bases. Be sure to stick on a Hallmark Christmas movie or listen to some holiday tunes while you create! Don’t you just LOVE this time of year?
Product ListI’ve enjoyed sharing my cards with you in my Christmas Card Series and I hope I’ve given you lots of ideas and inspiration this past week.
