23 Years of Memories – My Journey with Stampin’ Up!

October 11, 2025 Leave a Comment

It’s hard to believe it’s been 23 years since I first joined Stampin’ Up! – and oh my goodness, what an incredible journey it’s been! From my very first workshop in 2002 to countless classes, retreats, swaps, and handmade cards, I’ve cherished every single moment and memory we’ve shared together. Over the years, I’ve saved hundreds of cards, scrapbook pages, gifts, and 3D projects (I’m a tad bit sentimental, can you tell? LOL) – all beautiful reminders of the friendships, laughter, and creativity that have filled my life through stamping and paper crafting.

In today’s special video, I’m opening the boxes (literally!), revisiting some of my favourite projects and products, and taking a heartfelt walk down memory lane. But this isn’t just a look back – it’s also a glimpse ahead! I’ll be sharing the next exciting chapter of my creative journey, introducing my new Simply Serene brand and channel, where I’ve been quietly creating digital products, cookbooks, printables, and more. I can’t wait for you to see what’s coming next!

So grab a cup of tea, get comfy, and enjoy the video below – it’s a bit longer than usual, but I think you’ll really enjoy the inspiration and stroll down memory lane. 💕

Closing the doors on my Stampin’ Up! chapter has been incredibly emotional – this company has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. Who would’ve thought that buying a simple starter kit because I loved stamps, ink, and paper would lead to 23 amazing years of creativity, friendship, and unforgettable memories? My heart is overflowing with gratitude for everyone who’s been part of this journey – you’ve made it truly special.

And while this chapter is coming to an end, I’m so excited to spread my wings and share more stamping techniques, projects, and inspiration with you.

I hope you’ll visit me on my new channel, Simply Serene with Tina – a passion project that’s been quietly growing behind the scenes, and one I’m so thrilled to finally bring to life. I also have a website coming soon (with printable recipes) – we’re just putting the finishing touches on it now!

I’ve also been having so much fun creating new videos and projects, and designing cookbooks filled with my favourite recipes – including some passed down through generations and even a few from my catering days!

For those of you who’ve enjoyed the recipes I’ve shared on my blog over the years, be sure to check out my newest cookbook – it’s full of my most popular recipes, all put together just for you. I loved creating this collection, with memories and stories tucked into each one. The same goes for my Slow and Serene slow cooker cookbook …. I’m so proud of both books and deeply grateful for every single purchase and kind word you’ve shared.

Ok, friends – that’s it for me today!
Brian took this week off, but it’s ended up being even busier than we expected. I’d love to get a new stamping video up for you soon, but between canning, tucking our gardens in for winter, and Thanksgiving this weekend… life’s feeling pretty full at the moment!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians – wishing you a weekend filled with warmth, gratitude, and plenty of pie! 🥧🍁

Until next time, take care, and happy stamping!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
