Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice long weekend (for those of you who also live in Canada). I had a great weekend! On Saturday I invited a few of my girlfriends over for dinner and I made Chinese food. There isn’t one decent Chinese restaurant in town or even within an hours drive, so if you get a craving like I had, then ya gots to make it yerself! Good thing I like to cook, eh? So I made Crab Rangoons to start – first time I ever made them. Oh my. There were sooo good! For the main course I made chow mein (the recipe for this is on my recipe page), fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Fortunately, everyone loved the food and went back for seconds – so that’s a good sign!
Stephanie, Amanda, Jamie and Danielle and of course, yours truly. |
My friends also brought yummy goodies to share too and Debbie (not shown in photo) made a cheesecake for dessert. Oh my. We had very FULL bellies, I can tell ya. Very HAPPY full bellies, mind you! We laughed and talked and sure enjoyed our evening together. I am so GRATEFUL that my Stampin’ Up! business brought us all together – I couldn’t imagine not having the friends in my life that I have, all due to sharing my love of stamping with others! Pretty cool. Yesterday I spent time preparing special projects for my upcoming Creative Retreat. It was a busy weekend, but a very nice weekend.
This morning I made a card and I used the Best Birds, Timeless Textures and Thoughtful Banners set sets – all of which are retiring. I also used the Four-Petal Flower and Leaf Punch. Do you see the little sneak peek on this card?
The die cuts I used are from the NEW “Magnolia Memory” die collection, which coordinates with the “Good Morning Magnolia” suite! These products are coming out in our new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue, available June 4th.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this card so I decided to make another, this time filming the process for you.

This is one fabulous card. I love all of the elements and how you put it together.
