Hi Friends! Today’s card uses only two colours – Crumb Cake and Night of Navy – a classic combination. I used the “Pop of Petals” bundle and the sentiment is from the “Colorful Seasons” stamp set. This card is another easy layout that you could re-create with numerous stamp set designs and colours!
Measurements:
-
Crumb Cake: 5 ½” x 8 ½”; 6” x 2 ¼”; & 4 ¼” x 1”
-
Night of Navy: 4 ¼” x 1 ¼”
Instructions:
-
Fold Crumb Cake card stock in half to create card base.
-
Ink butterfly stamp from “Pop of Petals” with Night of Navy and stamp three times on front of card base. Repeat on 6” x 2 ¼” piece of Crumb Cake. Colour outline of butterflies with Night of Navy marker. Use Four Petal Flower punch to cut out the three butterflies from 6” x 2 ¼” Crumb Cake card stock – set aside.
-
Ink flowers and leaves from “Pop of Petals” set with Night of Navy ink pad (or marker) and stamp randomly to fill in front of card. Use Night of Navy marker to add in the dots.
-
Stamp sentiment from “Colorful Seasons” set with Night of Navy ink pad onto 1” x 4 ¼” strip of Crumb Cake card stock. Glue to Night of Navy card stock; glue to card.
-
Add butterflies with Mini Glue dots and place three Rhinestones on centre of each one.
-
Make a bow from Night of Navy Twine and Linen Thread and use Mini Glue Dots to adhere to card front.
